Jim Ziliak is Founding Director of the Center for Poverty Research and Founding Executive Director of the Kentucky Federal Statistical Research Data Center at the University of Kentucky, where he holds the Carol Martin Gatton Endowed Chair in Microeconomics in the Department of Economics. He is also Fellow of the Institute for Fiscal Studies. Professor Ziliak is the author or editor of four books and of many articles published in leading journals, including American Economic Review, Journal of Political Economy, and Journal of the American Statistical Association. He has held a number of visiting professorships and fellowships, such as at Brookings Institution and recently at University College London and Russell Sage Foundation in New York City.
