The art of leadership or, the “how to” build rapport with anyone you meet is a very valuable skill particularly now. Leadership is about having the ability to make and build positive relationships, and leaving a positive first impression. A number of meetings, interviews, and business transactions are being conducted online and knowing your behavioral style and the behavioral style of other people you will have the ability to build instant rapport and communicate more effectively.
Janet Reeves-Wilson Bio
Janet Reeves-Wilson is an alumna and adjunct professor at Roosevelt University. Janet is also a business owner (Divine Metamorphosis Coaching), coach, behavioral strategist, and mentor. Janet was a healthcare professional at Northwestern Healthcare prior to becoming a business owner and coach.
Janet’s mission and purpose are twofold: coaching and empowering students to find a career path that “light them on fire”, and coaching teams to do the sometimes-messy work required to create a work environment that makes people say, “I love my job” and mean it!
Janet is a professionally trained life coach, certified DISC and Motivators Practitioner and Workshop Leader, and certified Histology Technologist. Janet received two Bachelors of Biology degrees at Roosevelt, a master’s in psychology at National Louis University and a Certificate in Organizational Psychology at National Louis University.
When Janet is not teaching or coaching, she travels, works out, dances in the aisles at her favorite grocery store, watching movies at the Gene Siskel Film center and hanging out with her family. If she wasn’t teaching or coaching, she would be a lead guitarist for an 80’s rock band.
