This marks the kickoff of our blog series, “Wanderlust Chicago,” a curated exploration of unique neighborhoods that beckon us to escape the routine and embrace the city’s winter charms. So, why venture off campus during the colder months? The answer lies in the rejuvenation of our routines and the discovery of hidden gems that await just a train ride or bus stop away.

As students, we understand the comfort of campus life, but there’s a world of experiences beyond our lecture halls and dorms. This series is our call to get off campus, to breathe in the crisp winter air, and to immerse ourselves in the diverse stories each Chicago neighborhood has to tell.
