Chemistry plays an essential role in drug discovery and design. This presentation will provide an overview of my research interests and also highlight some of the amazing research outputs and accomplishments of former and current research students in my lab (OK Research Group). The goal of this research lab is to expose students to synthesizing organic compounds, analyzing natural products, and screening of organic compounds for various biological activities. The synthesis, screening and identification of organic molecules with pharmaceutical importance is an essential field, and therefore vital to expose our students to.
