Now accepting submissions for RSRS, the RU online student research celebration!
Students! Developing a research project, composition, performance, intervention, curriculum or a lesson plan? Completed one? Share your processes and outcomes with the RU community Roosevelt students are invited to participate in the Fall 2020 Online Roosevelt Student Research Symposium (RSRS)! RSRS is a multi-department collaboration celebrating students’ research & creative inquiry activities. This event is open to students from all RU disciplines.
Poster and Oral presentations will be accessible between Monday, October 19- Friday, October 23. Submission deadline is October 16th.

Proposals: Students are welcomed submit poster presentations or pre-recorded oral presentations or performance studies work. Presentations may cover independent research, outcomes of research assistantships, intensive class projects, work at summer research or inquiry experiences, a research or creative inquiry proposal or work-in-progress or even a developing idea.

Past Events: Fulbright Representative Virtual Presentation
Karen Forsythe, a Fulbright representative, will be presenting via Zoom on Friday, March 20th to talk about the prestigious Fulbright awards and opportunities abroad. Available opportunities range from English Teaching Assistant Programs to various study/research awards that take place in an eligible country of your choice. Come learn more about the programs and the application process, and bring any questions you have for Karen to answer. This presentation will be held from 2:00-3:30pm. Students are strongly encouraged to virtually attend this informative session. Please visit the Fulbright website for more information about these awards. Workshop: Writing Abstracts and Attending Conferences
Come join us on Wednesday, February 26th as the RU Research Ambassadors cover the steps leading up to presenting at conferences, as well as the professional etiquette that is expected of presenters. This student workshop will be held from 5-6:30pm in AUD 614.
Workshop: Applying for Grants and Fellowships
Come join the RU Research Ambassadors on Wednesday, March 25th as they talk about the guidelines, requirements, and process for applying to fellowships or grants. All students who are currently applying for any of these opportunities are strongly encouraged to attend. This student workshop will be held from 2-4pm in AUD 434.

Come join the RU Research Ambassadors on Monday, March 23rd as they talk about internship application guidelines and the process of applying. Students who are currently applying for summer or year-round internships are strongly encouraged to attend this informative student workshop. This event will be held from 1-3pm in AUD 614.
