Welcome to the Roosevelt Student Research Symposium, Spring 2020!

This year, we have created an online celebration of Roosevelt students’ research and creative inquiry activities! The symposium will be online from April 24th- May 4th, 2020. We welcome you to browse through students work and engage with them through the comments sections of their poster slides and videos.

RSRS 2020 Guest Speaker

Terri Brax is the RSRS 2020 guest speaker! She is an entrepreneur, co-founder and CEO of Women Tech Founders, and a Roosevelt University alum. Her organization is dedicated to advancing women in technology by inspiring and connecting them to one another. Below is an interview she did with Bootstrapping in America.

Students: We are accepting submissions for the 2020 Roosevelt Student Research Symposium. This year, we will be showcasing student work online! To participate, submit a form and your presentation by April 22, 2020. You can find information and submission forms on the the Roosevelt Student Research Symposium drop-down menu on the blog. Students! Developing a research project, composition, performance, intervention, curriculum or a lesson plan? Completed one? Share your processes and outcomes with the RU community Roosevelt students are invited to participate in the Fall 2020 Online Roosevelt Student Research Symposium (RSRS)! RSRS is a multi-department collaboration celebrating students’ research & creative inquiry activities. This event is open to students from all RU disciplines.

Poster and Oral presentations will be accessible between Monday, October 19- Friday, October 23. Submission deadline is October 16th.

Proposals: Students are welcomed submit poster presentations or pre-recorded oral presentations or performance studies work. Presentations may cover independent research, outcomes of research assistantships, intensive class projects, work at summer research or inquiry experiences, a research or creative inquiry proposal or work-in-progress or even a developing idea.

Dear RU community, The Roosevelt Student Research Symposium (RSRS) will be moving to an online!. Poster and Oral presentations will be accessible April 24-May 5. Students  will submit their presentation by April 22nd. Pre-registration is not necessary.
