Celebrate the start of a new semester during the week of August 31, 2020, as Roosevelt welcomes back new and returning students. Things will look a little different this year due to the impact of COVID-19. Nevertheless, we remain committed to welcoming our students in a safe, fun and supportive way. Navigating campus and understanding the new flow of movement will be critical to our success. To help ensure the safe return of our students to campus, we need your help. Faculty and staff, if you are interested in volunteering for any events or duties around campus, please sign-up here.
For students, #RUWelcomeWeek is full of in-person and virtual activities to help get students connected, involved and informed. The Laker Welcome Zone events include daily grab-and-go giveaways. Registration is not required for this event; however, all other events require registration to participate.

RMUI Website & Email Address Updates
On Monday, August 31, the Robert Morris University Illinois website will be officially retired. The robertmorris.edu website will become a static web page displaying important information pertaining to the institution’s closure and integration with RU, along with helpful links about transcript requests, student billing, employment verification, tax information, and more.
Former RMUI students now have Roosevelt University email addresses. To access your email, visit mail.roosevelt.edu and use your NetID to log in. It is strongly recommended that you forward your robertmorris.edu emails to the new roosevelt.edu address (see instructions). Roosevelt email addresses should be used for all University and academic communications moving forward. All RMUI email addresses will be disabled the first week of September.
Roosevelt Mobile App
Roosevelt University launched a new version of the Roosevelt mobile app. All students, faculty and staff are required to complete a self-assessment each day they intend to visit campus; a clearance to enter after accurately submitting the form must be shown to Campus Safety staff in order to enter a University building.
If you plan to be on campus this fall, downloading the app will save you time accessing all Roosevelt facilities.
Download the “Roosevelt University Mobile” app from the Apple (roosevelt.edu/ios) or Google (roosevelt.edu/android) stores.
