RMUI Blackboard Migration & New University Holidays

RMUI Blackboard Migration

On July 17 at 7 a.m., the login page for Roosevelt University Blackboard and Zoom will have a new look. There may be a very brief outage at that time. With this new login page, you will be able to access a number of software applications used at Roosevelt without needing to log in again.

RMUI Blackboard content migration to Roosevelt Blackboard has begun. Beginning July 20, summer RMEC courses will be hosted on the Roosevelt University Blackboard site – blackboard.roosevelt.edu. All faculty and students will need to use their Roosevelt NetID and password to use this system. Courses will be available to students at 12:01 a.m. on July 20. Faculty are advised to back up all Robert Morris Blackboard content by August 21. After that time, no one will be able to access the RMUI Blackboard system.

New University Holidays

In an effort to reflect the University’s ongoing commitment to social justice, inclusion and access, Roosevelt will add two new University holidays. Roosevelt will recognize Election Day on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 to ensure that members of the University community are able to vote. Roosevelt will also observe Juneteenth on Friday, June 18, 2021 and on June 19 moving forward. Juneteenth recognizes the critical historical event when the freedom promised by the Emancipation Proclamation was finally communicated to and implemented for the Black community in Texas, more than two years after the document was issued.
