Ep. 9: Audra Wilson on Why Voting Matters

This year the United States is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and women’s constitutional right to vote. But a century later, the fight for voting rights is still not over.

On this episode, guest host Jamar Orr welcomes Audra Wilson to discuss the ongoing struggle for equal voting access. Audra is a public interest attorney and the executive director of the League of Women Voters of Illinois. She was thrust into the world of politics when Barack Obama tapped her to serve on his U.S. Senate campaign.
