Please join me in thanking everyone who kept the University operating the last few days — especially those who kept our campus staffed. Roosevelt will resume normal operations and class schedules tomorrow.
While we were closed to the public, our residence hall staff, food service employees, security officers and facilities specialists were all on hand to ensure the safety and well-being of our students. I am grateful for your dedication and for braving the extreme temperatures so that Roosevelt could keep operations uninterrupted.
Many of you shared stories with me personally about how our community came together in a time of need to help one another and, in some cases, total strangers. It is simple acts of kindness that really do make a difference.
Know that your good work is appreciated.
