PRC Research Fellow Randy Colon awarded 2018 Newman Civic Fellowship

Congratulations to Randy Colon, PRC Research Fellow, who was named a 2018 Newman Civic Fellow!

The Newman Civic Fellowship recognizes and supports community-committed students who have demonstrated an investment in finding solutions for challenges facing communities throughout the country.

Colon, a junior sociology major at Roosevelt University, will join a cohort of fellows throughout the 2018-19 academic year and participate in training and learning opportunities with Campus Compact. Locally, he will be mentored by Andrea Juracek, executive director of Housing Choice Partners, an organization working to promote racial and economic equity in housing, and a research partner with the Policy Research Collaborative.
