Ep. 8: Patricia Harris on Diversity and Mentorship
This episode welcomes Pat Harris, proud alumna and chair of Roosevelt University’s Board of Trustees. Pat began her 40-year career at McDonald’s while taking classes at Roosevelt. As global chief diversity officer, she developed diversity and inclusion strategies for McDonald’s workforce around the world. The company earned recognition from Fortune, Black Enterprise and many other publications for its commitment to diversity.
Pat joins us to talk about her career journey, her work with the Board of Trustees and the importance of mentorship. Pat and President Ali also discuss how the University can continue to build on our legacy of social justice
