Dr. Jolles works on various aspects of Honors, related to both the student and faculty experience, including curriculum development, teaching and learning in Honors, and Honors recruiting and admissions. Trained in philosophy and specializing in feminist theory, Dr. Jolles’s courses include The Politics of Sex; What is a Family?; Global Feminist Ethics; and more. She’s worked at Roosevelt for 5 years. Her research focuses on ethics, philosophy of the body, sexuality studies, and fashion theory. In her life off-campus, Marjorie is an avid indoor cyclist, a mediocre but aspiring cook, and obsesses over national and local politics.
