Spring 2020 Commencement Celebration

Roosevelt will hold a virtual Commencement celebration on Friday, June 26. We plan to make this day engaging and memorable for our graduates and their families and friends. Details of the ceremony will be sent soon. The University will be reaching out for you to share favorite photos, stories, video messages and words of encouragement to make that day truly special.

President Malekzadeh’s End-of-Year Message to Faculty and Staff

Greetings Colleagues,

I hope you, your families and loved ones continue to stay safe and healthy.

March 10, 2020 marked a serious shift in the way we deliver on our commitment to providing the best educational experience for our students. We have also seen how lives across the world were, and continue to be, altered due to COVID-19; we could have never expected it to this degree. As I review the past year, including the past two months or so, I’m extremely thankful for and proud of the Roosevelt University community for everything we have accomplished, our positive outlook, and our selfless and ongoing devotion to our jobs and students.

New Campus Housing Requirements and Options

Dear Students,

Roosevelt University is committed to your safety, comfort and providing opportunities for you to learn and grow.

As the University, including the Office of Residence Life, prepares for the future, planning for the months and year to come, our residents’ well-being is at the forefront of our decision-making. Given the unexpected evolution of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the health impacts this virus has had on the city of Chicago and the world, Residence Life has decided to make changes to our housing options in order to better serve Roosevelt University students.

The University is providing more flexibility during this uncertain time, particularly for those who are planning to live on campus, knowing that there is a possibility that some classes will be offered in a remote learning format.
