Spring 2020 Grading and Policy

Dear Students,

Thank you for your ongoing hard work, flexibility and efforts for adjusting to remote learning due to COVID-19.

We understand that students are facing especially difficult circumstances during this time. We have adjusted regular deadlines and faculty have been asked to be flexible around the delivery of grades, especially for those students who may be struggling during the spring semester.

Weekly Recap 4/3/20

It’s been another successful week of remote learning! Thank you to everyone for your continued hard work and dedication as the semester progresses.

On March 31, Governor Pritzker announced that the Illinois stay-at-home order would be extended through April 30. Please continue best practices for good health to help reduce everyone’s risk of infection. We continue to monitor the latest developments from local and state authorities and will provide updates as information becomes available.

Safeguarding Your Zoom Meeting

Roosevelt University is committed to providing the tools and services needed to successfully deliver your classes and meetings remotely. This includes a safe, protected, inclusive environment for our faculty, staff and students. There are safeguards in Zoom that will assist in proactively addressing any possible breaches from non-students as well as Zoom features that can be leveraged to manage participants during class and meetings.
