Roosevelt Earns Gateways Entitlement
The College of Education is pleased to announce that its Early Childhood Education program has once again been entitled through Gateways to Opportunity to offer the Level II through V Early Childhood Education Credentials. These credentials are for early care and education professionals who have formal education, training, and experience with children (ages 0-8), either in the form of supervised observation or direct work experience. The credentials are accepted throughout Illinois and enable advancement within the field of early childhood education.
Roosevelt’s program in Early Childhood Education is led by Jin-ah Kim, associate professor of education. It was thanks to her efforts this summer that the continued entitlement was granted.
