The Roosevelt University community food, hygiene, and clothing bank task force will begin collecting non-perishable food, hygiene items and lightly used winter clothing from the Schaumburg community on Oct. 1 and will continue collecting throughout the academic year.
To kick start our program for the 2017-18 academic year, there will be a non-perishable food, hygiene items and winter clothing drive on Oct. 11. The office or department contributing the most donations on Oct. 11 will receive a pizza party in November. The winner will be chosen according to number of items collected/overall weight of the collection.
The Roosevelt University Community food, hygiene, and clothing bank task force looks forward to partnering with offices and departments on the Schaumburg Campus to support our students facing food, hygiene and clothing insecurity.
