It’s hard to believe that it is already the middle of week six of the fall semester! As much as we want all students to be succeeding in all of their classes right now, some students may be struggling. While some faculty have already submitted Early Alerts, I wanted to remind you that between now and week seven (Oct. 13) is a great time to submit Early Alerts. Research shows that early intervention is the best means to help academically at-risk students.
Early Alerts are not a substitute for direct discussions with students, but add an additional layer of support to alert students, as well as other members of the University community, who can assist with addressing concerns early and often.
Training materials are also available in the Teaching Resources section of the Faculty & Staff page of the website.
