Water chemistry sampling on the Chicago River’s South Branch, May 2009 (I’m on the left)

In the Fall of  2010, I co-founded Roosevelt’s undergraduate program in Sustainability Studies with my colleagues Carl Zimring (now at the Pratt Institute) and Brad Hunt. My courses in that program include SUST 210 (The Sustainable Future), 220 (Water), 240 (Waste), 350 (Service & Sustainability), 390 (Special Topics: The Sustainable Campus), and 395 (Sustainability Studies Internship). As the current Director of the Sustainability Studies program, I teach at both the Chicago and Schaumburg campuses as well as online.

A member of the Professional and Liberal Studies (formerly BGS) faculty in the College of Professional Studies at Roosevelt University since 1996, I have taught several of the program’s interdisciplinary general education seminars for adult students, including courses in natural science and humanities (PLS 391 and 392).
